macOS 15+ · Selection · Screenshot OCR · Live window

Translate what’s on your Mac.

Select text, capture an area, or pin a live window. TranslateWindow keeps translations next to what you are reading, with local models for private content and AI-powered results for the right tone.

Quick translation

Select text. Press the shortcut.

When you are reading a page, document, or email, TranslateWindow keeps the result beside the original text. If wording feels uncertain, open comparison in place.

  • No copy, paste, or trip to another translation page.
  • The result appears close to the source, so you can keep reading.
  • For harder sentences, compare model outputs and choose the smoother wording.
